I recycle clay scraps and greenware into usable material for new beads and vessels. The process is SO satisfying: I rehydrate the brittle clay pieces in a large bucket, transfer the mud to a plaster slab for drying before folding the mound onto itself over and over again. This process is called wedging and removes any air bubbles that naturally occur during the rehydration process.
